Also testifying were Ms. Donna Gambrel, Director of the CDFI Program, and The Honorable Michael Barr, Assistant Secretary of Domestic Finance, U.S. Department of the Treasury. February 24, 2010 - Meritus Ventures Fund Manager Speaks to Area Business and Technology Leaders on Venture Capital Activity in the Region

 Meritus Ventures Fund Manager, Grady Vanderhoofven, was the guest speaker at the February meeting of the Innovation Valley Technology Council. Mr. Vanderhoofven presented an outstanding summary of Venture Capital in the State of Tennessee relative to venture capital hot spots across the country as well as in the southeastern U.S.  Mr. Vanderhoofven's presentation includes statistics that show the economic impact of venture backed companies on job creation and wealth creation for a host community. Video of the presentation can be found on innovation and entrepreneurship blog outofthegarage.com.

 May 28, 2009 - Meritus Ventures Fund Manager Participates in Panel Discussion on  "Bridging the Gap from Science to Commerce.
